The fabulous Mille Miglia race!
Between 1927 and 1957, the fabulous long-distance automobile race was run in Italy the Mille Miglia.
30 years and 994.1939 miles of speed and beauty branded by some of the most recognized car brands in the world, born from the dream of 4 friends on Christmas Eve 1926.
This race marked the history of motorsports, being one of the most loved at both Italian and international level.
In 1957 it was suspended due to a couple of accidents that ended the lives of two of its best pilots.
However, in 1977 the idea was reborn in the form of the Mille Miglia Rally and today it is run every year starting from Brescia to Rome as tradition dictates.
